This website is hosted by the non-governmental and not-for-profit organisation "Dokumentationsarchiv der Intoleranz gegen Christen" / "Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination against Christians".
The Observatory focuses on the European Union and (potential) accession countries. The information provided is a supplement to concerns regarding the worldwide phenomenon of intolerance against Christians - by calling attention to the more subtle forms occurring in Europe. The focus on Europe by no means disregards or devalues the tragic persecution of Christians in other areas of the world.
The Observatory is a member of the Fundamental Rights Platform of the EU-Fundamental Rights Agency.
