Crucifix Marred by Vandals in Arcugnano
The crucifix of Lake Fimon, in the Berici hills was defaced with paint for the second time in 10 months.
The crucifix monument, adored by the many local faithful who visit daily to pray, was smeared with red paint. The act is thought to have occurred at night, as it is in a popular area, and there were no witnesses.
A similar act of vandalism occurred at the end of 2015: the crucifix was smeared with green paint. Police are investigating and are looking for witnesses who can provide information on the incident to track down those responsible.
