Deacon verbally and physically attached when protesting against Drag Queen children show
Revd Calvin Robinson, a deacon in the Free Church of England, was verbally and physically attacked while protesting against a Drag Queen storytelling event for children set to be held at a local library at Lewisham, London.
Protestors, demanding inclusivity and tolerance, shouted slogans such as, “Drag queens are welcome, vicars are not”.
Furthermore, following this event, Revd Robinson was dismissed from his voluntary position on the education sub-committee at the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), for the expression on views deemed in conflict with the core values of RAD.
