Theft of tabernacle
On 26 December, the tabernacle was stolen from the church of St Joseph parish in Kollnau. The perpetrators, who are still unknown, stole the locked tabernacle from the choir of the church.
As part of the initial police investigation, the tabernacle was found severely damaged in a hedge near the church on the evening of the crime. The perpetrators were unable to access the contents of the tabernacle.
