Church in Bellevue Defaced with Anti-Christian Tags

A Bellevue church was tagged with Anti-Chritian slogans, as discovered by the police on the 28th of January. The walls and doors of the Bellevue parish were covered with inscriptions.
A churchgoer commented: "This is a malicious act. I demand that the state condemn these people. It's unacceptable for the Church in Martinique."
According to Father Alain Ransay, it is not the first time that the parish of Bellevue has been the target of vandalistic acts. Often in the staircase of the presbytery, there is oil liquid looking like blood.
"We have already had the opportunity to report these facts but it is not a priority for the police to find someone who is probably unbalanced. It is conceivable," said the parish priest.
In recent months, several churches in Martinique have been the target of vandalism. This was the case o in Trois-Îlets last June and in Schoelcher.
