Statues in Church in Friedrichshafen Severely Vandalized

A church was vandalized and desecrated in Friedrichshafen in Baden-Württemberg. The Catholic community of the parish of St. Peter Canisius of the diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart was very much in shock.

A local parishioner discovered that statues of saints in the church had been vandalized. Among the damages inter alia are:  a statue of St. Jude Thaddeus that was beheaded and a statue of the Virgin Mary that had one hand amputated and on the other a broken finger.
