Arson in Normandy Church
L'église Sainte-Croix de Saint-Lô was the victim of arson on Friday, October 2, 2015. The entry display was torched and it took 10 firefighters and 4 fire engines to combat the blaze.
Criminal intent can be inferred, as a first arson attempt took place two days earlier in the same place.As the result of a series of arson crimes, another church in town, the Notre-Dame de Saint-Lô has been equipped with surveillance cameras in the last few years.
