Mayor of Valencia Orders Removal of Christian Symbols in Cemetery

The mayor of Valencia, Joan Ribó, has ordered municipal management to remove all Christian symbols from the General Cemetery of Valencia

The City of Valencia has ordered several other prohibitions on Christian symbols. They want to change the names of the chapels to "ceremonial halls." In addition, they intend to remove crucifixes from public places and want to hide images of the Virgen de los Desamparados (patron Saint of Valencia).
