A mother of eight was detained on February 17th during morning prayer with her family. She was forced to spend eight days in a prison in Gelsenkirchen, Ostwestphalia. The Baptist woman refused to send her nine-year-old-son to school as she did not want him to take part in the mandatory sex education. She was fined 250 Euro which she refused to pay. The woman says that the school’s sexual education portrays sexuality as nothing else but eating or playing – everyone should do as they please. She says that this leads to premature sexual activity and that sex ed is the primary right of the parents. For more details in German please visit: http://www.kath.net/detail.php?id=25686
