Floats for Parade of Kings Burned
The four floats that would be used in the traditional procession of the Three Kings were found burned on the Sunday before Epiphany in Arriate.
In what appears to be an intentional act, gasoline was poured near the floats and set on fire. Officials are investigating. On "El Día de los Reyes" Spain and Latin American countries celebrate the biblical adoration of baby Jesus by the three Kings, also known as the three Wise Men or Magi.
