The church of Saint-Martin of Dommartin-le-Coq was the victim of a burglary sometime between the 23rd and 27th of February.

The unknown perpetrators entered the locked church by smashing the sacristy window. Police report that two statues, classified as historical monuments, were stolen: a 16th century Virgin with Child and a 17th century bishop holding a book. Thieves also took religious objects including two silver chalices, candlesticks, a chandelier, and two small statuettes.  Police are investigating. Source: L'Est éclair
