Sacred Objects and Keys Stolen from Mödling Church
Unknown perpetrators stole a chalice, two ciboria, and a monstrance from the tabernacle, as well as all the keys in the sacristy from the parish church in Biedermannsdorf (district of Mödling) on the evening of April 13th.
The value of the stolen sacred objects was estimated by the parish office to be about 500 euros. However, the property damage caused by the theft of the stolen keys and the required replacement of all of the locks is approximately 2,500 euros.
Witnesses with relevant information about possible suspicious activity on April 13, 2019, between 17.30 and 18.10 in the area of the Biedermannsdorf parish church are requested to contact the Wiener Neudorf police: Tel. 059 133 - 3344.
