Rocks thrown through Stained Glass Window of Worcester Church

11-12 November 2019. Church Warden left "in tears" after rocks damaged historic details of multiple windows at St Thomas' Church, Worcester.

In between the late and early hours of 11 and 12 November 2019, St Thomas's Church in East Crown Lane near Worcester, sustained attacks to its historical stained glass windows.

Abigail Tilling, the Church Warden has expressed her shock and sadness in discovering the damage on Tuesday morning.

"I was the first to see the windows this morning. It was totally sevastating. I phoned our vicar in tears." She told local media.

Tilling expects that a specialist will need to be called in to return the windows to their prior condition, with costs of repair, uncertain.
