The Church Of Mortagne-Au-Perche Desecrated
On February 17th, the tabernacle in the church of Notre-Dame de Mortagne-au-Perche has been found fractured and the ciborium has been emptied and broken. Since then, the church is closed to the public.
"This is a serious act for the Church, an offence to all Christians.", said Jean-Baptiste Balaÿ, the parish priest of Mortagne-au-Perche. On February 22th a mass of reparation was hold in this church. An investigation was opened and entrusted to the gendarmerie of Mortagne.
