Crimes Against Christians, Jews and Muslims Are on the Rise in Germany
Since 2018, the numbers of attacks against Christians have more than doubled, the assaults against Jews have quintupled, and the crimes against Muslims have tripled in Germany.
The statistics of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior show that from 2017 to 2019 there have been 75 crimes against Muslims, 24 attacks against Christians, and 54 crimes against Jews in Germany. Not only the people, but also their houses, propetites, and facilities were exposed to the attacks.
Since 2018 the crimes against Christians have more than doubled from 4 to 9 (2017: 11), the attacks against Muslims have tripled from 15 to 42 (2017: 18) and the numbers of crimes against Jews have quintupled from 7 to 35 (2017: 12). Most of the suspects, in which 42 among them have been caught, have the german passport and are from the right wing.
In the last two years, the cases of vandalism of churches have also increased. Altogether, there have been 755 crimes against churches since 2018 only in Nordrhein - Westfalen (a part of Germany). Again most of the suspects were germans (88% from 173 suspects) and three cases were carried out from people of the right scene.
