Virgin Maria Mocked By Graffiti
In the evening of March 8th, (women’s day) an insulting graffiti was sprayed under the ceramic altarpiece of the Virgin del Buen Fin on the wall of the church of San Martin. The tag said: "The Virgin Mary would also have had an abortion". The graffiti was removed from the facade of the church.
In February last year the same church has already become a victim of vandalism, as graffiti was sprayed on the church, saying "The only church that lights up is the one that burns". The painter was caught by the police a couple of days later, but this year in the last months many churches in Spain were vandalized again.
