Churches Vandalised in Bayeux and Bessin
A wave of crime and vandalism hit several parishes in the area of Bayeux and Bessin. Notre-Dame du Bessin, Saint-Loup Hors and Manoir churches have suffered material damage whereas in the parish of Port en Bessin a chalice was stolen.
In the case of Notre-Dame of Nanteuil Montrichard (Loir-et-Cher) nothing was stolen but the Eucharist used for Adoration, considered a most holy item for Catholics, after the tabernacle was destroyed, in which it was kept.Sources:
