Six Church Statues Decapitated in Poitiers
On January 6th, six statues were found decapitated in the church of Sainte-Thérèse in Poitiers. The police have confirmed that the vandalism
Thierry Seguin commented, “Even if they remain episodic, there have always been damages and thefts of objects in churches. This is a sensitive problem to which we cannot provide a global response, each building is different. The investigation is ongoing and we urge the parishes to exercise caution".
