Vandals Ransacked Church interior in Meda
Unknown vandals entered the Santo Crocifisso Church in Meda and ransacked the inside on May 30th. They overturned chairs, sprayed disinfectant everywhere, and threw that brass altar cross onto the floor which bent it, causing damage. The local police started an investigation into the crime using video from surveillance cameras.
The parish priest, don Claudio Carboni, said: "There is little to comment on, these are gestures that unfortunately reflect a large part of modern society - he declared - I am very saddened by what happened."
This is one of several other incidents of vandalism that happened during this time in Meda, Brianza.
