Church of Épiais Completely Ruined by Criminal Fire
The church of Épinais had just been restored when it was completely destroyed during the night from February 4th to 5th, 2012. Five young men were arrested by the police.
The main reason of the attack is not entirely clear: If it was the theft in the rectory, it is unclear why they then decided to set fire in the rectory, starting a blase to spread to the church and completely destroyed it.Source:
