Hateful Graffiti On Residence of Cardinal of Cologne
The official residence of the Cardinal of Cologne, Rainer Maria Woelki, was smeared with hateful graffiti on the September 19. The entrance gate to the archbishop's house was also sprayed with powder from a fire extinguisher.
The comments included hateful writings referring to abuse. The archdiocese spoke of vandalism and saw the "aggressive action" with concern. The police were informed about the property damage.
