Desecration of a painting of the Last Supper
On July 31, the Parish priest of the Our Lady Queen of Poland church in Chojnice reported that the Last Supper painting near the church entrance was vandalised. Specifically, one of the Apostles' faces was cut out.
In response to the vandalism, Father Chyła promptly informed on social media that the police had been notified and given access to surveillance footage, hoping to identify the perpetrators. According to Fr. Chyła, the perpetrators were two young boys.
