Theft and Vandalism at St. Catherine Church
On the night of the 26th of July, unknown perpetrators broke into the Church of St. Catherine in Rożnów, robbing and damaging the property. Offerings from two donation boxes were stolen, and damage was caused to the stained glass window of St. Maksymilian and the baptismal font.
Even though the church has an alarm system that alerted security guards, the perpetrators were able to evade capture. The authorities were notified and promptly launched an investigation. Parish priest Przemysław Prętki expressed deep sadness over the break-in and vandalism, emphasizing the emotional impact on the community.
