Arson attack on Altar of church in Limoges
The altar of a church in Limoges, France was set on fire. Luckily, the fire was discovered by parishoners who came to the church for prayer and put out before it could spread.
For the Catholic community this act of profanation demanded a reparation mass, which was celebrated after the incident. The Archbishop of Limoges, Pierre-Antoine Bozo, expressed his concern about the hate-crime and the deliberate profanation of sacred things.
