Church tagged with graffiti: "Traitor Christian"
On November 1, 2023, the Saint-Fiacre church in Villers-lès-Nancy was sprayed with graffiti, reading "Traitor Christian". The tags are considered to have a connection with the Israel-Hamas war.
The Deputy Public Prosecutor of Nancy, Amaury Lacôte, confirmed the discovery of these “anti-Semitic tags on the Saint-Fiacre church”. He adds that an “investigation has been opened into charges of damage to property designated for worship and provocation of hatred on grounds of religion.”
