Man threatens priest to burn church
November 15, a 45-year-old man threatened a parish priest and two other persons with assaulting them and burning down the church in Burgos. In addition, the individual made use of a wooden rod in a threatening way.
The incidence took place at C. Benito Pérez Galdós Street, in front of the Church of Our Lady of the Pilar. The parish priest of the church was the one who alerted the agents of the situation, said that the man in question had seriously threatened them. Two people who accompanied the parish priest also witnessed the threats and came out in his defense, consequently also receiving threats.
A police patrol intervened and arrested the perpetrator.
