Christians Threatened in Muslim-Christian Area in Bulgaria
“Christians are threatened” said a resident of the Roma neighborhood in Iztok, a suburb in Pazardjik (Bulgaria) in the television program "Fatherland Front" (Otechestven front) with Martin Karbovski.
According to a Christian preacher in Bulgaria, Christians are being harassed. He confirmed that his daughter had been beaten because she is a Christian. A man with hidden identity called Ivan for the TV broadcast said Muslims do not let their children play with peers from other religions and don’t allow religiously mixed school desks for Christians and Muslims.
Ivan feared that revealing his true identity would force him to leave the city because his life and the lives of his family would be in danger.
