The case was handled by the District Prosecutor's Office in Kępno, which opened an investigation into the arson of a book holy to Christians in a church, the Polish Press Agency reported. Prosecutor Marcin Kubiak, from the district prosecutor's office in Ostrów Wielkopolski, revealed that she did not refer to the incident and did not state her motives on that day.
The parish published photos showing the damaged property - a broken vessel and other broken objects. The parish also said in a statement on Facebook: "At a time of increasing vandalism against places of worship, we appeal for sensitivity and vigilance."
