In Palma’s Santa Catalina neighborhood, the parish of the Verge del Carme—an emblematic but currently inactive church—was defaced with graffiti and offensive messages targeting the church. The vandalism appeared on the temple’s exterior walls, especially along Villalonga Street, and included disrespectful phrases.
Local residents and community members expressed frustration over the damage and called for cleanup efforts to restore the dignity of this historic site.
