Unknown perpetrators threw stones at the north side of the Schnathorst village church in Hüllhorst during the night of 11 to 12 November, smashing three window panes. The damage caused by the attack is estimated at approximately €5,000, according to the church parish.
Joachim Mehnert, a member of the “Lighthouse” planning group overseeing the church’s planned renovation, stated “We have not made the incident public until now because we were afraid of copycat offenders.”
