Swastika Carved Into Evangelical Church Facade
Police opened a criminal investigation after unknown perpetrators etched a Nazi symbol into the wall of a church in Lower Saxony.
Unidentified individuals carved a swastika into the exterior wall of the Evangelical Church in the Bockenem district of Nette between December 12 and December 14, according to the Hildesheim police. The act was classified as vandalism and as the use of symbols of unconstitutional organisations, prompting the Bad Salzdetfurth police to initiate criminal proceedings.
