Main Altar Cross Stolen at Saint‑Winoc Church

A theft at the Église Saint-Winoc in Plouhinec, Finistère, was reported on 25 January when the cross from the church’s main altar was removed by unknown perpetrators, parish authorities confirmed.

The parishioners found that the ceremonial cross that stood atop the maître-autel inside the 16th-century church dedicated to Saint Winoc had been taken.

Local officials stated that an investigation had been opened, but by the time of the report no suspects had been identified or apprehended.
