Christian Pro-Life March Attacked in Koblenz: Two Hospitalised
In Koblenz, activists associated with left-wing extremist groups attacked a public information event organised by the Christian pro-life initiative SOS Leben, resulting in injuries to two volunteers who later required hospital treatment.
The incident occurred on February 2, during a stop of SOS Leben’s “Pro-Life Tour.” According to reports cited by the organisers and local media, a group of counter-protesters described as belonging to the far-left spectrum attempted to disrupt the event by shouting slogans, damaging banners, interfering with the stand and even injuring participants. Objects were reportedly thrown, and confrontations ensued, during which two volunteers sustained injuries and were subsequently treated in hospital.
Police officers present at the scene intervened to prevent further escalation and arrested those responsible for the attacks. The event was able to continue only under police protection. At the time of reporting, authorities had not released further details on charges but confirmed that the incident was documented and is under investigation.
