Repeated Vandalism at Parish Oratory in Quattro Castella

Country: Italy

Date of incident: February 23, 2026

A parish oratory in Quattro Castella (Reggio Emilia, Italy) was repeatedly targeted by break-ins and vandalism in the past months. In February, two suspects were identified by the Carabinieri using images captured by camera traps installed inside the parish premises.

According to a report from February 23, unknown individuals had entered the oratory several times since late December, damaging furniture and stealing food and drinks. After the incidents were reported, camera traps installed in the building recorded another intrusion, allowing investigators to identify the two suspects, aged 17 and 20, who were subsequently reported to the relevant public prosecutors.
