Parish in Provaglio d’Iseo Targeted by Vandalism
The church of Saints Peter and Paul in Provaglio d’Iseo was targeted by vandalism, with its historic rose windows heavily damaged by stones.
A serious act of vandalism struck the parish church dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul in Provaglio d’Iseo, Italy, during the night between 20 and 21 March. The church’s historic rose window on the façade was heavily damaged, likely by stones. It is clearly visible: the glass features three separate breaks, including a large central hole.
Restoration is expected to require considerable financial resources and will need to be carried out in coordination with heritage authorities.
