A mutilated statue of Christ was discovered on a grave in the cemetery of Soria, with missing limbs and red-painted hair. The discovery has raised suspicions of a possible ritual-related act.

On 08 April 2026, a mutilated image of Jesus Christ was found placed on a grave inside the municipal cemetery of Soria. The statue, made of wood or resin, had been found with its arms and legs removed. Its hair had been painted red, and a red wig-like element was attached to the head. The figure also appeared to be dressed with a burlap cloth tied around the waist.

According to local reports, the condition and placement of the statue have led to speculation in some circles about a possible connection to ritual practices, although no official confirmation has been made regarding its origin or those responsible.
