Parish representatives stated: “A couple of nights ago, unknown individuals entered the Church of Santa Maria Goretti in Villalba through a side window. They devastated everything, broke the Infant Jesus and left only desolation.” They further added: “This vile and sacrilegious act angers us deeply, and we condemn it while expressing solidarity with Don Denis and the entire community of Santa Maria Goretti.”
