The Basilica of San Siro in Genoa has been vandalised in the city’s historic centre, with its side façade smeared with graffiti containing anticlerical messages and anarchist symbols.
Among the inscriptions identified were “infamous priests”, “burn the church”, a slogan reading “against their war, against their peace, for social revolution”, and an anarchist symbol.
