Satanic Graffiti Defaces Barbara Chapel in Penzberg
The Barbara Chapel on the Berghalde in Penzberg has been vandalised with satanic-themed graffiti, including pentagrams and the number “666” painted in black and red.
The Barbara Chapel on the Berghalde in Penzberg, Upper Bavaria, has been defaced with prominent satanic-style graffiti after unknown individuals painted symbols on its exterior walls.
Between 14 May and 16 May the chapel was marked with multiple pentagrams drawn in black and red paint, with the number “666” written inside them.
The graffiti caused significant visual damage to the chapel’s façade, which is made of porous stone that has absorbed the paint, making removal difficult. Authorities estimate the damage at approximately €2,000. Police in Penzberg have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses to help identify those responsible for the act.
