Cross Stolen From Church in Vejle
An iron cross and other items were stolen from St. Nikolai Church in Vejle. Thanks to witnesses, police identified and arrested the suspect.
A man has been arrested after allegedly stealing an iron cross and other items from St. Nikolai Lutheran Church in Vejle on 13 July 2026. Reports state that the man entered the church and allegedly stole an iron cross, and other minor items. Two witnesses observed the burglary and alerted the police, enabling officers to locate and arrest the suspect in the hours following the theft.
