Fire Investigated at Collegiate Church of Saint-Junien

Country: France

Date of incident: December 7, 2015

Upon his arrival at the church, the priest discovered three small fires in separate parts of the church.

There was extensive damage, with four banks partially burned, the book in which parishioners write prayer intentions was largely affected. However, the greatest damage was to a mural that hung in the church. The burlap and felt mural of over 6 meters, was of great sentimental value to the parishioners.
