Church Devastated by Vandalism in Bremen-Lesum

Unknown perpetrators caused half a million euros in damage when they vandalized the St. Martini Church by filling two organs with construction foam, emptying a fire extinguisher, and pouring red acrylic paint on the floor in front of the altar and baptismal font.
The sexton of the Evangelical church discovered the destruction when he prepared for Sunday worship. Reports indicate that there were no slogans, symbols, or other identifying marks left at the scene. Police began an investigation.
