Sacrilegious Vandals Damaged in Monteu da Po Church
On the night from 30th to 31st August, the churchyard of the parish church of Monteu da Po was vandalized. Vandals left pizza boxes, leftovers of food, paper cups in the churchyard, and beer bottles with broken glass in front of the access to the sacred building. The priest Piero Massaglia expressed his desolation and great annoyance since this is not the first time this happens.
"This is not the first time this has happened - so says the parish priest, Don Piero Massaglia, desolated and very upset by this deplorable event - already a few days ago, the tent that covered the old entrance door to the church was torn and broken bottle glass was found. I communicated the fact to the Carabinieri of Cavagnolo and I removed the tent and cleaned it, but this time it is really too much.
