Former Spanish Deputy Encourages Violence and Vandalism to Churches

Marga Ferré, Izquierda Unida's former deputy in the Madrid Assembly for two terms, has encouraged young girls to enter churches without clothes and has applauded the demolition of statues. In a chat with six other communist women, this journalist made statements that glorify vandalism against Christian sites, considering it "amusing".
In the online event "Dialogue of Marxist Women" organized by Jóvenes IU, the leader of Alberto Garzón's party - Marga Ferré - has praised actions that are close to violence if they are meant to defend the feminist flag.
"It amuses me so much when statues are destroyed and I love it when they throw eggs at the statue of María Cristina de Borbón, the great stateswoman of today", she commented with enthusiasm. Marga Ferré also encourages the defacing of sculptures, considering it legitimate to destroy the work of sculptors, with the justification of defending the freedom of expression.
She further added: "I love it when Femen go to a church and uncover themselves, I love it, I think they are disruptive, I think they help us to think and above all I am very amused by the reaction of the gentlemen (sic.) defending stupid things, defending the name of the streets or that we want to be censors". At several points in the colloquium, she used this derogatory term to ridicule Western men.
