St Stephen and All Martyrs entrance vandalised
The stone pinnacles from a church gate were stolen on the weekend of the church's 180th anniversary.
The church, first opened for worship on February 18, 1844, had been preparing to celebrate its 180th anniversary with a special event. While the event could still take place, the vandalism has caused a lot of upset in the community. The pinnacles were of great historic value. The police are investigating the case.
