Door of Santiago Church repeatedly vandalised
On Saturday, April 20, 2024, in Jerez, Spain, part of the lower area of the door of Santiago church was torn off in what appeared to be a new act of vandalism.
The Jerez for Santiago neighbourhood association has denounced the act through its social networks with the following words: "Once again, we have to echo an unfortunate event that occurred at the door of the Church of Santiago, the result of disrespect and savagery".
This is not the first time this church's door has suffered similar acts of vandalism. In April 2022, the entrance to the church was painted with anarchist graffiti, also reported by the association.
