Young Christians attacked on Lake Constance while preaching

On Wednesday afternoon, July 12, a group of young Christians aged between 16 and 23 were attacked on Lake Constance while they were reading bible verses over a megaphone on a rental boat.
The six people, aged between 16 and 23, were on the lake in front of the outdoor pool and began to advertise their Christian faith and quoting bible verses using a megaphone, which apparently displeased a 37-year-old man. According to the police, the man who was also on a boat then attacked the group and rammed their boat at least three times, causing a crack in the hull and getting the boat into an imbalance which led to the boat filling with water. One young man even went overboard and got slightly injured on the leg. The perpetrator is said to have approached the young man in the water several times, turning his boat away only in the last moment.
The fleeing perpetrator was caught on land by a police patrol. The police also found two guns in one of the man's storerooms, which were confiscated. The investigation is ongoing, he now faces charges including dangerous interference with shipping traffic and causing grievous bodily harm.
