Repeated vandalism and smearing of church
On the night of 20 September, the façade of the Church of Santo Stefano was defaced with graffiti. The slogans included an anarchist symbol. The church had only reopened a few days earlier following previous incidents of graffiti and vandalism.
This new incident is adding fuel to the debate over the city's widespread vandalism.
