Statue of St. John Paul II vandalised
On 2 April, a statue of St. John Paul II was vandalised in Stalowa Wola. Unknown perpetrators poured red liquid on the Pope's monument in the Basilica of Stalowa Wola.
The act of vandalism came the day after residents of Stalowa Wola and the surrounding area had taken part in a march of silence in defence of the sanctity of John Paul II.
