Public prayer gathering attacked
On May 5, 2023, at around 5pm, the participants in a public rosary prayer organised by a pro-life foundation in Elbląg, were attacked. During the meeting, a masked and very aggressive man approached the people praying.
He destroyed the banners held by the participants in the rosary and began to insult them with vulgar words. When the organiser of the prayer event tried to stop him, the assailant jumped on him and a scuffle ensued, during which the coordinator of the rosary suffered injuries to his hand. The assailant also threatened the prayer leader with abusive language, suggesting that he would beat him up. The assailant then left towards a nearby supermarket.
